the best word to use. these voters have been used, either going republican for years or falling out of interest and helping republicans get elected. now they can all organize, they can all get on facebook, they can contact these candidates pretty easily and get revved up and drive up votes in a way they didn't used to. one twhoing point out. it is not just that they're electing tea party nominees instead of the establishment choices, the republicans are who have are not being defeated by the tea party, john mccain, for example, end up agreeing with them on the issues. the tea party has been really good, better than the democratic base, at moving the party in the direct they want. the more conservative direction. >> at this point we might as well add marko rubio and make it six versus five. do you have a sense, did miss angle give us more information than she wanted to by talking about the rhetoric of the primary versus the rhetoric of the general? any sense of who will try move away from the work stream positions to take softer angle, no pun intended? >> sharron angle has been refre

news deputy political director mark murray who joins us live from washington. let's break down what these results mean beginning in delaware. it was a huge tea party win, obviously. the question is, obviously, what will happen in the midterm? >> you know, richard, we just don't know right now. certainly the tea party has given republicans a jolt of enthusiasm and energy even in delaware. honestly, that's the republican party's biggest advantage heading into the midterm electrics. they're the ones who have the enthusiasm and the democrats don't. on the other hand, the tea party has given democrats an advantage in contests like delaware and kentucky and nevada where it's their candidates, the democratic candidates probably wouldn't have a chance to win or even be the favorites without the tea party candidates there. in delaware, for example, chris kuntz goes in as the fro front-runner in this contest. castle would have been the front-runner had he won. >> hey, mark, let's go to new york where we saw paladino come away with the winner there. >> that was just a shock. rick lazio has bee

england. the outer banks, they see a ton of storms. huge storms all the time. the trees and buildings used to it. eastern new england, the leaves are still on the trees and may do more damage out there on the cape. waiting for tonight to see how that plays out. radar, of the storm, ron in the last rain band from the storm and probably in sunshine in an hour or two. winds in delaware and maryland, no big deal. wildwood to atlantic city, gusting 20 to 30 miles per hour. so really the mid-atlantic not an issue. as the storm heads northwards, notice cape cod far to the east there. that's why it's going to see the stronger winds. rain showers moving up into new england and long island. you have to be out there on the end of long island to be hit by the storm. as far as the stormwise, a different view. hurricane warnings for cape cod. large waves are now arriving and that forecast path brings the storm closest to eastern new england right around 10:00 p.m. tonight for the reporters blowing in the breeze out there. i think we have escaped this one. it is underachieved. >> all right. bill karins,
